Iowa Velvet Giants

Every July i go out around my land here in Iowa and look for whiteail deer in velvet.It seems every year i see monster bucks in velvet.I watch these giants for weeks.Then when it comes to rubbing time in september they vanish and you dont see them no more.I think these deer know what they have on there head.When the velvet is gone the giants hide.I remember in 07 were i was watching 6 bucks i know they were all in the 200 inch scoring range came out every evening in a bean field.I was unreal to see these deer out there together getting along.I watched them for 3 weeks and kept good tract of them.And then september 5 came and they all vanished.I never seen these deer all hunting season.The next year in August all of them were back in the bean field again like a family get together.Onley this time they were all bigger.So that showed me that you never can say that a buck dont vanish and come back.
